In today’s blog we will be learning one of Korea’s popular holidays 빼빼로 데이 (Pepero Day 11.11)! 빼빼로 = Pepero 데이 = Day (Korean English) Pepero is a type of chocolate-dipped cookie sticks. The exact origin of Pepero day is still unknown but rumour has it that a group of university girls started gifting Pepero to each other to wish each other to be as skinny (as the Pepero snack is straight, thin and skinny)!  However, as time passed, most know it as a day to give Pepero to your loved ones with the intention to display affection or confess....
